On the hottest day of the summer so far, a very dedicated group consisting of Ms. Basdekis (Ms. B #1), Ms. Bazanchuk (Ms. B #2), Lauren, Zia, Raphaela, and Tegan all came out to the garden. Thanks to an amazing MHS maintenance team, our new plot of land was freshly cleared and ready to battle with Ms. B #1 and the tiller!
Ms. B #2, Lauren, and Zia fought the weeds that were sprouting up between the rapidly growing vegetables in the fenced in section of the garden. When all of this was accomplished, which took awhile in the sweltering heat, we headed out to the greenhouse to grab some tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants that Ms. B #1 had been taking care of.
Tegan and Raphaela joined us to plant the new section of the garden!
Thanks for all your hard-work! It's really appreciated!
Also, there is now a Garden Log, so if you head out to the garden in the future, make sure to write your name, the date, and what you did!
